What do you think? I'm just looking through rose-tinted glasses at the first game? I kept waiting for the real final battle to begin and instead I got the credits.

Last, but it's a minor point, the story didn't felt as epic as the first game, with the final boss being extremely disappointing. While i never had any problem following what was happening in Bayo 1.Īlso, too many battles with big guys, or flying around, or some other suit that just normal enemies to combo on. But with the downside that they are Too spectacular and becomes difficult to follow the action in progress. They are even more spectacular than the first one. Kafka as the main example, or just gave series of the same attack during the combo instead of varying even so slightly the attack.basically some of them felt more fleshed out than others (like the double sword)Īnother problem I have with the game is the scenarios. In Bayo 2 many of the weapons are instead kinda useless or limited. This had the downside of making all the weapons less unique, but also making all of them viable and easy to. Every combination of attacks gave a different combo for every weapon. In Bayo 1 every weapon had a pretty much complete moveset. So let me explain myself, and then I would like to hear your opinion.įirst problem I have with Bayo 2 is with weapons. But since Bayo 2 won the neogaf got, I suspect it being a little unpopular opinion. But i think Bayo 1 is still the better game. I recently finished Bayo 2,and I admit, being Bayo 1 the game I played the most last gen, I might have been a little burned out to fully appreciate a 'more of the same' sequel.
